SUSTAINABLE FARMING

SUSTAINABLE FARMING - RABOBANK

In a complicated and ambiguous world animation can be helpful to recognise and understand the complexity of the matter. A short animation film about the tools and finance for sustainable fishing. Powered by WWF and Rabobank. Production design by Studio Turner.

WHAT ABOUT MILK PRODUCTION?

A short animation film about the future of milk production, the possibilities and limitations for healthy farming. This film was made in 2014 and Rabobank and farmers were eager to overcome the many challenges they were facing. 2020 should have been a year when most of the problems were solved. But looking back now in 2021 we have to conclude they were all far too optimistic. 2030 would be a better guess. Shown here is piece out of an animation film.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Being a pig farmer isn't easy nowadays. Sustainable production of meat is a must. Treatment of animals and their environmentally friendly housing is crucial to the public. Rabobank organises a series of workshops and offers a podium for discussion for pig farmers. The bank aims for a sustainable future of the livestock and agricultural business. Public approval is essential for further development. A series of documentaries and animation films were made as food for thought. And a challenge for a filmmaker who is practically a vegetarian...

This is what we all like to see, keeping pigs outdoors. They have more space and can explore and forage in their environment. Is it a realistic scenario for all the pig farmers? That's what we try to find out. Stakeholders, consumers and pig farmers discuss the matter.
