LOGOS RADIO 1 BUS
Radio 1 travels the country using a bus as a recording studio.
We designed stickers for the different buses used by various Radio 1 programmes. It all started with a vintage American school bus. A brand new, cleaner but less characteristic bus is now used. We developed a handy system to quickly change the design on the bus so that it can be used for different programmes. Above '5 dagen', which means '5 days'. Radio broadcasting; 5 days in a row from one location in the Netherlands.
'Hilversum uit', a weekly show, local news on global issues.
The very first bus: 1 OP STRAAT. Journalists scale every corner of the country for local news that is also of national interest.
The news programme Kwesties was next in line. First in the vintage American school bus and later in the modern bus.
And HILVERSUM OUT, the programme currently on the move. Every Saturday afternoon on NPO Radio 1.
And finally a (rejected) design for Nieuws & Co that the editorial office considered too exuberant for this quite serious programme.
